Inspired by nature...
I have always had a passion for drawing. As a scientist that has helped me become a good observer and recorder of the world around me and this is something that I have now developed as a creative outlet. Quartet Arts products are inspired by the natural world and I particularly enjoy interpreting the colour, shades and delicate detail of plant and animal life.
The designs are not only presented as original artwork and prints, but also as greeting cards and special occasion stationery. Cards are available individually or in packs of 4 or 'bundles', where each card is linked to a particular theme.

Each pack or bundle of cards is hand finished by me. All cards come with envelopes and are packaged in compostable, biodegradable film pockets.
Commission art work is also undertaken and examples of this can be seen on the photo gallery. These are original watercolour paintings, signed, mounted and framed by me with a testimonial attached. Recent commissions have included bespoke paintings of bridal wedding bouquets, a series of paintings for a local business premises and family portrait 'vignettes'.
Limited Edition prints, mounted, numbered and signed by the artist are also available for some designs. These can be provided mounted or mounted and framed.
Specialist card commissions for businesses also undertaken.

For the last 12 years I have been fortunate to regularly spent time on the Isles of Scilly, relaxing and enjoying their unique landscape and habitats. This has inspired me artistically and I would like to share my love of the islands. Amongst my recent work is a range of Agapanthus cards, sold individually or as a set of 4 cards for use as notelets or greetings cards. These iconic flowers abound on the Isles of Scilly and evoke memories of vivid, blue-tinged coastal walks on summer days.

These cards include specific plant and animal species that are found on the islands and also some landscape images of my fa
I am currently working in a Partnership agreement with the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust (IOSWT) to produce a range of information cards designed to raise awareness of the Trust and their valuable conservation work. These cards include specific plant and animal species that are found on the islands and also some landscape images of my favourite Scilly landmarks. On the reverse of the card are information notes about the identification and ecology of the species depicted.
These A5 cards are £3.50 each plus pp. For each card sold, £1 is donated direct by me to the IOSWT to help them in their work. Please check out the IOSWT website www.ios-wildlifetrust.org.uk and consider supporting them to maintain the ecological value of these wonderful and unique UK islands.
